Chinese rice paper drawings, original watercolours and drawings, and prints, ca. 100 leaves (watermarked 1865), with forty-one Chinese rice paper drawings, of fish, birds, butterflies, trades, boats, landscapes, etc., eight larger images of costumes of noblemen and women, eighteen small hand-coloured etchings by Rowlandson, four hand-coloured lithographs from ‘Le Theatre Francais Avant La Renaissance’, Paris, 1872, four small hand-coloured costume plates, published by R. Ackermann, 1822, two hand-coloured ladies fashions plates, from La Belle Assemblee, 1811 and 1816, a mezzotint entitled The Dream, published by R. Sayer, 1787, a few watercolours and pencil drawings, and numerous prints and chromolithographs, including ‘Baxter prints’ with examples by Le Blond, Baxterr, and Kronheim.
